What is a toolkit?
A toolkit is a suite of materials provided to help you promote, launch, and celebrate the Student Debt Retirement Savings Match benefit with current and prospective employees. Toolkit resources include emails, digital signage, flyers, and other information to help engage your employees. This page acts as a one-stop shop for all things related to your benefit, from engagement materials to a look inside your employees' experience, as well as links to other helpful tools and PSW pages.
Why should I use the Student Debt Retirement Savings Match toolkit?
Materials in this toolkit help build awareness for your employees about how enrolling will empower them to leverage their student debt payments to receive contributions to their retirement plan. This innovative benefit allows your employees to receive their full retirement match while continuing to pay down loans. There’s no need to sacrifice saving later –and miss out on future compounding effects –in order to pay loans now.

Announce |
Yell it from the rooftops! Tell your employees about their great new benefit. The announcement email conveys your commitment to help your employees save for retirement while paying down their student debt, describing the benefit and directing them to learn more with the Student Debt Tool OR a short benefit overview video. Educate |
Help your employees understand the program basics and how to enroll with an educational email. This email links employees to the Getting Started Guide, which provides details on how the program works and what to expect before enrollment. We’ve also provided a link to the Student Debt Tool, which offers strategies for paying off student debt. You can use the email, guide and the tool together or separately. Download Education email: |

Enroll |
It's showtime – enrollment is open. We've handled some of the heavy lifting for you, driving awareness with an invitation and reminder email, for both new enrollees and those who are reenrolling. The invitation will go to all eligible employees as a part of implementation, and you can configure the reminder email cadence at any time. Ensure maximum employee engagement with digital signage and bricklet. You can place these graphics on your intranet site, corporate desktop, or screensaver. There's a QR code embedded for employees to easily scan, directing them to a guidance page for enrolling in the program. Download Enrollment Invitation (Fidelity sent)

Track payments & review |
Now, the fun begins! Once an employee enrolls, they're participating in the benefit. For employees that added loans using Fincity, payment information will be tracked automatically throughout the year. They’ll just need to log in from time to time to make sure their payment history is accurate. For employees that added loans manually, they’ll need to log in on a regular basis to upload their payment history in order to receive credit. Celebrate |
Time to celebrate! It's importance to acknowledge how this benefit sets your company apart in a competitive job market. Use the celebration power point slide to reinforce that you're a leader in this space and are committed to helping your employees by adopting such a unique benefit. Showcase the number of employees enrolled, total student loan payments paid, and additional match contributions earned from student loan payments (data available via the Student Debt section of PSW).
