Employers will need to provide the right benefits, education, and tools to maximize value for employees.


The pandemic forced employers to roll out new digital health offerings, from video visits to digital therapeutics. Employees tapped into many of these benefits, but usage wasn’t always seamless: employees experienced gaps in understanding both technology and next steps. To help ensure that employees successfully engage with these benefits moving forward, employers should:

  • Illuminate the value of year-round use
  • Over-index on the user experience
  • Expand access points beyond telehealth
  • Measure value based on employee satisfaction
