What are the goals of this campaign?

Educate employees on how starting or increasing their HSA contributions can help meet their health care and financial needs

When will these communications be sent?

The annual email will be distributed August 20th to those who align with the targeted criteria.

Who will receive this campaign?

Active employees who have an HSA or are eligible for an HSA (enrolled in HSA-eligible health plan) will receive a version of this campaign. Employees who have reached the IRS maximum for the year, or who are on track to reach the maximum by the end of the year, will be excluded from this campaign.

What message is available?

The email message is targeted to each audience to help employees understand how to increase their tax savings through using an HSA. There are 3 versions of the campaign messaging, tailored to:

  • HSA Non-Contributors and Low-Contributors
  • HSA Contributors – Spenders
  • HSA Contributors – Savers

What is the call to action?

The primary call to action will be to “Review Contributions,” which will by default drive to the HSA Contributions tab on NetBenefits.

For employees who have enrolled in an HSA-eligible health plan but have not opened their HSA, the CTA will be to open their account.
