Who is this email template intended for?

This email template is intended for only employers using the Guided Account Opening feature. To protect each HSA, the feature places a temporary restriction that prevents funds from leaving the account until activation is complete.

When should this email template be used?

If you find that a significant number of employees have not activated their accounts, this resource can help. It provides an easy way to prompt employees to complete activation so they can have full access to their HSA funds and features.

You can identify employees who have not activated their accounts by reviewing the Full Population Report on Plan Sponsor Webstation® (PSW).
