What is the objective of this campaign?

The objective of this campaign is to engage employees and provide investment advice during the moments in which they're looking for investment help online.

When will these communications be sent?

This single-touch e-mail deploys on a weekly basis, but employees will be limited to no more than one message every six months.

Who will receive this campaign?

  • Active employees with a balance greater than $0 
  • Separated employees with a balance greater than $1,000 
  • Employees who have visited one of the following pages on NetBenefits within the past week: 
    • Performance & Research 
    • Investment Strategies 
    • Change Investments

What audiences are included?

Three primary audiences based on the type of investment support needed:

Paycheck-to-Paycheck employees age 35 or older with a balance less than $100,000 AND Millennials age 18-34 with a balance less than $10,000:

Millennials age 18-34 with a balance of $10,000 or more:

Financially established employees age 35 or older with a balance of $100,000 or more:

This audience has some investing experience, but they lack confidence in their ability to properly manage their account.



Primary call to action:

  • Employees will be directed to an online workshop to learn the basics of investing and help them determine the right investment approach

Secondary call to action:

  • Employees will be invited to call a licensed financial professional for investment advice.



This audience is dividing their attention between short and long term goals, and they need help balancing financial priorities while maintaining an investment strategy they understand.

Primary call to action:

  • Employees will be invited to call a licensed financial professional for investment advice.


Secondary call to action:

  • Employees will be directed to an online workshop that can help them confidently build a long-term investment plan to optimize their savings

This audience is primarily focused on balancing growth with preservation, and they are unsure how to choose investments that align with their tolerance for risk.


Primary call to action:

  • Employees will be invited to call a licensed financial professional for investment advice.



Secondary call to action:

  • Employees will be directed to a Viewpoints article that offers a point of view on how to diversify a portfolio.
