Designed to help people when we know they need it as they navigate complex moments in their lives—and direct them to the most relevant help within the Life Events experience.

What is the objective of this campaign?
This program aims to deliver real-time support that provides employees with resources and tools to help them feel confident and make informed decisions around emotional life events, beyond just retirement. It helps connect the financial and non-financial aspects of life and provides assistance when employees need it—whether it’s a roadmap to help easily navigate events in their lives or the ability to quickly access information on a specific topic. The content will also help them identify the short and long-term impact one or more life events may have on their finances.
When will these communications be sent?
This trigger will launch the week of May 8 and will also be delivered responsively after an employee informs us of a life event, generally through Financial Wellness Checkup. The first touch will deploy within one week of our being informed of the event.
Who will receive this campaign?
All eligible employees who notify us of one of seven primary life events will be included.
- All active employees ages 18 or older with a balance greater than $0
- Former employees separated for 75 days or more with a balance of $1,000 or greater
For employees who do not inform us of a life event, there is also an awareness email that will go out once per year to let them know about the resources available to them, if and when they need them. Life Events must be enabled.
What is the call to action?
Links will drive primarily to different resources within the Life Events experience. Depending on which life event an individual qualifies for, they will receive links to pages that are most relevant to their specific needs. In most cases, employees will be directed to various pages on NetBenefits® to take action, while others may receive links to certain Point Solutions if your plan has adopted Fidelity Point Solutions.
