Military Community Page
Fidelity employs hundreds of veterans. Many of them lead the effort to actively engage members of the military community on The Road AheadSM—what Fidelity calls the financial and personal journey service members make as they transition from military to civilian life. It’s our mission to help them lead stronger financial lives and to help you help your veteran employees and community do the same. Below, we hear from Chad Johnson, former marine and Military Community Lead at Fidelity who discusses his work with the military community.

COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
For active-duty service members, the transition from military to civilian life can be challenging. There are new financial responsibilities to consider, such as housing, groceries, health care, and retirement, and many may be starting their first civilian job a decade or more later than their nonveteran colleagues. Yet they bring an array of valuable real-world skills to any organization. Together, we can meet them where they are with multifaceted support that acknowledges their service. Watch the video below to see what we’re doing to actively thank and empower veterans and transitioning service members with the appropriate mix of saving, spending, and investing know-how; peer support; and a brand-new mission in the civilian world. |
