Retirement Analysis Tool Enhancements
Fidelity is modernizing the Retirement Analysis tool with new enhancements and interface improvements.
Overview
Fidelity rolled out the Planning and Guidance Center Retirement Analysis around 2015. Since then, the analysis has experienced exponential growth in usage for a diverse range of engagements. Today, the Retirement Analysis is a key aspect of Fidelity’s Planning and Advice offering.
The Retirement Analysis has been redesigned from both a user experience and an underlying technology perspective. Employees will continue to access this feature on Planning Summary by clicking on their Retirement Goal. A few highlights of the new format are a clean modernized look, intuitive navigation, and increased accessibility and readability. The modernized experience will allow Fidelity to continue to evolve the tool to create future enhancements that will meet plan sponsor and participant needs.
New Functionality and Features
Some of the new updates that you will see in the Retirement Analysis tool include:
- New Withdrawal from Savings experience for eligible users
- Enhancements to provide more education in the Asset Mix experience
- Enhancements to the Income Strategy Evaluator experience for eligible users
These new features are within the dynamic ‘Your Strategies’ section for Savings, Investments and Retirement Income.
Benefits
Through the modernization of the Retirement Analysis, it has become faster, more intuitive, and an easier tool for participants to use and make updates. It also has increased accessibility, which means the tool is available to all participants independent of age, technology, or ability.
