WHAT IS A TOOLKIT?
A toolkit is simply a suite of materials provided to help you promote, launch, and celebrate the Student Debt Direct benefit with current and prospective employees. The resources below include emails, digital signage, flyers, and other information to help engage your employees. This page acts as a one-stop shop for all things related to your benefit, from engagement materials to a look inside your employees' experience and links to other helpful tools and PSW pages.

Materials in this toolkit can help you build awareness for your employees about how enrolling in this benefit will pay down their student loan faster and save them time and money.

Yell it from the roof tops! Tell your employees about their great new benefit. The announcement email conveys your commitment to help your employees with their student debt, highlighting the monthly benefit amount and timeline to enrollment. |
| EDUCATE |
Help your employees understand the program's basics and how to enroll with an educational email. Set expectations that enrollment will be open soon and loan statements will be needed to receive the benefit. This email links to the Student Debt Tool that offers strategies for paying off student debt and the Getting Started Guide which provides details on how the program works and what to expect before enrollment. You can use the email and the guide together or separately. |
| ENROLL |
It's showtime-enrollment is open. We've handled some of the heavy lifting for driving awareness with an invitation and reminder email. The invitation will go to all eligible employees as a part of implementation, but you'll need to request the reminder email as a part of the benefits launch. If you prefer to send the reminder email to your employees, you can do that at any point. If you've already launched your benefit and are looking to drive increased usage, you can leverage the reminder email, as the content is ever green. There's also a new awareness email that can be used AT ANY TIME to nudge visibility and enrollment. Drive home that you're helping your employees "ditch the debt" with your program. Ensure maximum employee engagement by using the digital signage, power point slide, bricklet and banners provided. You can place the signage on your intranet site, office monitors or use as a screensaver. There's a QR code embedded for employees to easily scan to get their loans enrolled in the program. If an employee starts to enroll and doesn't finish, Fidelity will send a triggered email communication to remind them to complete enrollment. Sometimes the process requires paperwork that might not be available, so this trigger helps to keep the benefit top of mind. Now the fun begins! Once an employee submits their loan details, they're participating in the benefit. Noting left to do but enjoy the ride and the extra monthly student loan payments. The PowerPoint slide highlights your employees' email journey across all states-announcement / education / enrollment / experience / celebration - take a peek inside. |

Time to celebrate! It's importance to acknowledge how this benefit sets your company apart in a competitive job market. Use this celebration power point slide to reinforce that you're a leader in this space and are committed to helping your employees by adopting such a unique benefit. Showcase the number of employees helped, total principal paid, and savings accumulated through reduction of principal and interest (data available via the Student Debt section of PSW). It's a great way to recognize this impactful benefit. Ready to get personal? You can also send this end of year email to your employees that highlights the help you have provided and reaffirms the progress toward eliminating their debt. Employees will be happy to watch their total payments increase as their loan balances decrease! Additionally, we will communicate to your employees when their loan balances are close to being paid off or fully paid off. |
