Encourage employees to stay involved with their finances—to help them see how they're doing, and whether they're progressing.

What is the objective?

Employees face financial stress and anxiety that can negatively impact their health, their productivity at work, and even engagement in their plan benefits. The Financial Wellness Checkup helps provide employees with a clear path forward—in a fun and engaging way—so they can build their financial confidence and gain a sense of control.

The trigger encourages employees to take the checkup to receive their scores across each category of financial wellness: savings, debt management, budgeting, and financial protection.

When will these communications deploy?

The trigger runs on a weekly basis throughout the course of the year. It sweeps for eligible employees who meet the criteria, and systematically deploys to:

• Employees in existing plans who have recently enabled the trigger
• Newly enrolled employees in existing plans who have already enabled the trigger
• Employees who have not received the trigger in at least a year. (Note: No employee will receive more than once annually.)

Who is eligible?

• Active employees age 18 or older with a balance of $0 or more who are eligible to contribute
• Employees age 18 or over with a minimum balance of $1,000 who have been separated for a minimum of 75 days.

Which audiences are included?

Four primary versions based on Financial Wellness Persona.

• Paycheck-to-Paycheck: Employees ages 35 or older with a balance less than $100K AND ages 18–34 with a balance less than $10K
• Foundation Builders: Employees ages 18–34 with a balance of $10K or more/strong>
• Priority Balancers: Employees ages 35-49 with a balance of $100K or more
• Financially Established: Employees aged 50 or older with a balance of $100K or more
