Post-Implementation Onboarding Trigger Communications

Helping participants get off to a great start post plan implementation or transition.

What is the objective?

Welcome and orient newly-transitioned participants to Fidelity and their benefits, and help them get started with some ‘housekeeping’ tasks and take advantage of their workplace benefits.

  • Set up their account profile and preferences, including beneficiaries, if they haven't already.
  • Take advantage of resources and tools, including NetBenefits, that their new benefits plan offers.

Who will receive the communications?

  • Newly transitioned participants (as a result of a plan implementation, merger or acquisition)
    • Active participants with a balance greater than $0.
    • Separated participants with a balance of $5,000 or more.

What is the call to action?

Complete ‘housekeeping’ tasks (such as beneficiary information, contact information, and communication preferences) and access tools, education and solutions that their new plan offers.

When will the communications be sent?

  • Soon after the Plan live date.

What is the email message distribution?

  • Employee-provided email address
  • Employer-provided email address (not used for Separated participants)
